Fly Brother Talks with Indian Filmmaker Faraz Arif Ansari

On this episode, I talk with Faraz Arif Ansari, gifted writer and filmmaker from India who worked with several acclaimed directors in film and television since beginning his career six years ago. His recent film, Sisak, is India’s first silent queer love story. The beautiful 20-minute short film is traveling to film festivals around the world, winning many, many jury and audience awards. When not working behind the camera, Faraz conducts cinema and theater sessions for underprivileged children in Mumbai and trains them to write screenplays and direct their own short films. Today, we talk about filmmaking, identity, survival, purpose, love, and—of course—travel, and a whole lot more. Tune in and get lifted!
