The monsoon season typically lasts from June to September every year. Although they can seem a little daunting, the auto-rickshaws are an excellent way to navigate the bustling city streets. There are some 250,000 three-wheeled rickshaws in Mumbai, and they are a highly regulated local commodity.
Bandra is an adorable little neighborhood that is home to many artists and locals living in the city. The Bandra neighborhood is an excellent example of just how much the city has grown over the past 100 years. What was once a communal village has now become a trendy chic suburb full of galleries and cafes. Bandra and all of Bombay are special in that they provide a unique microcosm of India as a whole. Because of the industries that have grown in the city, it has attracted people from all around the country, becoming an incredibly diverse melting pot of Indian culture.
