With Episode 10, we end Season One with a double feature bringing viewers to two very different destinations: Bogotá, Colombia, and Casablanca, Morocco.

First, Ernest hangs out in Colombia’s capital city, a place he called home for several years while working as a university professor. He strolls the streets, reminiscing on his days living in Bogotá before meeting up with his bud, telenovela heartthrob Roberto Manrique. Together they make their way up to Monserrate, a mountain that overlooks Bogotá and offers the best views of the entire city. This mountaintop is home to a Catholic sanctuary and since the pair arrive on Easter weekend, the area is packed with locals who are vacationing or celebrating the holiday. Ernest and Roberto manage to find a spot to sit for a moment as they sip on strong Colombian coffee, munch on tasty almojabanas, and discuss Roberto’s upcoming TV projects and more.

Then, it’s on to Morocco’s most underrated city, replete with a range of delicious delights.

In Casablanca, Ernest takes in the grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque—the largest functioning mosque in Africa and the seventh largest in the world—before meeting with his friend Thierry Kabeya. Thierry, a Congolese-Canadian entrepreneur now living in Casablanca, shows Ernest the ropes of shopping in local markets and shares how he feels as a foreigner living in Morocco. The culinary adventure continues with Omar Wydadi, a Moroccan physician, who takes Ernest to another marketplace where they sit on a rooftop and munch on one of the many versions of tajine, a popular Moroccan dish. They end the day spending time by the waterfront as Omar tells Ernest about Casablanca’s unique way of embracing both traditional and modern ways of life.
