Last month, we asked our travel-loving community to come together and help our TV docu-series FLY BROTHER with Ernest White II earn the honor of winning a People’s Telly Award. Today, we are proud to announce that those efforts were not in vain.
FLY BROTHER with Ernest White II is officially a Telly Award Winner!
The competition was stiff this year, with high-quality entrants across a variety of genres all vying for top honors. In the end, FLY BROTHER is taking home silver in the General People’s Telly category.
The 42nd Annual People’s Telly Awards recognizes excellence in video and television across all screens, so it is an incredible honor for us to win this award. We are continuously humbled by the support of our viewers and grateful to be recognized for all the hard work that we put into creating FLY BROTHER with Ernest White II and spreading our message of love, friendship, and human connection across different languages, cultures and countries. As our motto says: The whole world is our tribe.
In January, we were honored with the Independent Production Award from the 52nd Annual Public Media Awards presented by NETA. Now, we’ve earned a People’s Telly Award, and with your continued support, the sky’s the limit.
In fact, filming for Season Two of FLY BROTHER with Ernest White II is already underway, with our host discovering the diversity of the U.S. From the idyllic beaches of Puerto Rico to the glaciers of Alaska and beyond, Ernest is showing viewers that traveling within your home country can be just as adventurous as going abroad.
To film Season Two of FLY BROTHER With Ernest White II, as well as many future seasons, we’ve partnered with nonprofit organization Filmmakers Collaborative to receive charitable contributions that are fully tax deductible to the contributor. The money raised through this campaign will be put toward all the behind-the-scenes costs of making the show.
