When people think about vintage airline posters and international travel, they often think far-away lands and far-flung destinations. Mexico, though, has always been a top destination (at least for U.S. travelers) because of its enchanting culture, incredible history, amazing food, welcoming people, varied natural wonders, and—of course—its proximity. Airlines have been shuttling people across the border for business, beach weekends, cultural excursions, and quickie divorces since the 1920s. Even today, Mexico still receives the most international flights from the U.S. than any other country. Think about that. Meanwhile, come take a trip down to ol’ Mexico!
